while on vacation in Seattle, Washington. Our sincere prayers and warm wishes for strength, peace,

family members at this difficult time.Funeral services were

Cards, letters, simple notes describing favorite memories of
Master Jeong, and donations received by Master Jeong's family
and were greatly

Master Jeong began teaching with Master Rho on November 1, 2005. Prior
to joining our staff, he taught Taekwondo in Mission Viejo and Cypress,
California. He is originally from Jin Chun, Korea, and earned his 4 Dan
WTF Black Belt under 9 Dan Grand Master Lee, the
Kukkiwon
Education Department Chief. In 2002, Master Jeong graduated from the
World Taekwondo Instructor Academy and has taught Taekwondo and Tae Kwon
Stick weapon techniques to both Masters and Instructors in Korea,
Scotland, and the USA. He also taught various techniques to the Korean
Tae Kwon Diamond International Demonstration Team and was a Sparring
Champion in the Korean Army.
Master Jeong touched a great many lives and will be sorely missed. My
family and I developed quite a bond with Master Jeong since he first joined our
school. We had the pleasure of getting to know him outside of the dojang and he
enjoyed several holiday meals in our home. Master Jeong was a great instructor
-- very precise in his teachings -- and he taught us all a great deal. We will
always remember him with that contagious smile, a sparkle in his eye, and how
excited he would get whenever we had a pot-luck at the school! We miss you, Sir!
--Instructor DanMy condolences to Master Jeong's family and everyone

It is a rare thing to be blessed with having someone
in your child's life, if even briefly, of such high character,
compassion, and selfless devotion to being a role model, friend, and
instructor. He will be deeply missed by us all. --Jeanine C.
We are very sad to hear about Master Jeong. My kids
did have many fun times and giggles with him. --Karmen D.
"Some people come into our lives and quietly go. Others
stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the
same." Master Jeong had some mighty big footprints!!!! Maggie and I will
always cherish the wonderful time we had with him! --Tom and Maggie P.
Master Jeong will be sorely missed by our family. He
was such a wonderful teacher who was able to connect with the kids in a
unique and special way. Our hearts go out to his family, to Master Rho
and his staff, and to all of the Taekwondo students. --Noah and Abby L.
It has been difficult for us to comprehend the loss.
He had such a special twinkle and was so good with the kids. I regret
that I didn't know him better, but he sure did leave a lasting impact on
many. Although his life was cut in half, he left a legacy that many
could never hope to have. --Clare C.
